General details:
The basic purpose of the UPRT workshop is to prevent and recover from emergency situations. The workshop should concentrate on student’s psychological reactions and analytical thinking that is required for quick and precise definition of an act of recovering from emergency under a lot of stresses.
UPRT training is divided on two trainings:
-“BASIC” is required and pursued during CPL(A) training.
-“ADVANCED” is independently conducted and required by airlines from candidates who compete for the First Officer position.
Theoretical UPRT training:
- 5 hours of lecture
Practical UPRT training:
3 hours:
- Recovery from emergency under different approach angles
- Recovery from graveyard spiral
- Recovery from stalling
